With the World Cup play-off semi-final against Kazakhstan just around the corner, Ireland's manager Carla Ward has made a surprise addition to the squad with Shanade Hopcroft.
The match is due to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, on October 9, before the return leg in Cork on Tuesday 13.
This week, Carla has revealed her team for the first match, with a new face added to the mix: Shanade Hopcroft.
But who is this star who is due to wear the green jersey for the first time...

Sporting life 28-year-old Shanade Hopcroft is from Aylesbury in England and plays midfield for Crystal Palace.
From a very early age, Shanade showed potential on the pitch.
Even in her early sporting days, Shanade was sought after by clubs and ended up joining the Chelsea U10 youth system, remaining there until she was 14.
At 16, she joined Middlesex U17 and would then feature on the reserve squad for both the London Bees and Reading Women.
Moving Stateside on a soccer scholarship, Shanade's reputation as a creative attacker on the pitch grew as she attended Daytona State College.
From 2017 to 2021, she moved to UCCS Mountain Lions and finally to Colorado Buffaloes before returning....
