The person explained that their older family members kept telling them that everything is fine and that they only need to try harder.It is a question that many people are actually asking themselves.
Open any social media platform and the job search rant seems to be real.
Are these people correct? Are such occurrences a true reflection of what is happening with the job market? The person logs into a website and applies to a job, adjusts keywords to pass automated screening, takes tests and then waits for a reply they will most likely never get.
Both pictures are about finding a job but in two different worlds.
The reality is that older generations grew up applying for jobs where the local market was sufficient to satisfy the demand.
Technology was not part of the equation and competition was lower.
Today, the situation is completely different.People today have to go through a lengthy and competitive application process involving digital software against hundreds or even thousands of other candidates vying for the same position.
