A Table Set for Women Who Lead AUCKLAND, New Zealand — On October 13, a roundtable in Auckland will gather women who have shaped boardrooms, laboratories, parliaments, and communities across New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific.
The occasion is The Era of Her, the inaugural Women's Leadership Dialogue hosted by Beauty Rush New Zealand — a new platform dedicated to honouring women's achievements and advancing the conversation about what women's leadership means in 2026 and beyond.
The dialogue is expected to draw senior figures from politics, academia, business, and the cultural sector, alongside pioneering women entrepreneurs from both New Zealand and the Chinese community.
Organisers describe the format as deliberately intimate: a genuine roundtable rather than a stage, built for candid exchange on ambition, resilience, mentorship, and the narratives women are writing for themselves across cultures.
The speaker line-up will be confirmed and announced closer to the date.
Why Now, and Why Auckland The timing is deliberate.
New Zealand — the first nation in the world to grant women the vote, in 1893 — carries a particular historical weight in any conversation about women's leadership.
Auckland, the country's most diverse and internationally connected city, offers a fitting stage for a dialogue that deliberately spans cultures: the event will bring Kiwi women leaders into conversation with women entrepreneurs and professionals from the Chinese community, reflecting the deepening ties between the two countries.
"The Era of Her begins from a simple conviction: that women's achievements deserve not only celebration, but continuity," said a spokesperson for Beauty Rush New Zealand.
"Too often, women's leadership is honoured in a headline and forgotten by the next news cycle.
We are building a platform, not an event — a table that stays set, year after year, for the women who are shaping our time." From a Beauty Brand to a Leadership Platform That a beauty company is behind the initiative may surprise some; the brand argues it should not.
